2024 University of Wisconsin Study

An independent study, commissioned by Tonies in 2024, involved a randomized control group of children aged 3-5 and was designed to assess the impact of the Toniebox on emergent literacy and excess screen time. Over the course of the study, the intervention group - those who regularly used and listed to Toniebox content - showed significant higher gains in emergent literacy skills when compared to the control group. Additionally, the intervention group saw a reduction in reduction in the number of children exceeding one hour of screen time per day.

A 2023 study has show that in just four months of using Tonies, children improved on every competency measured – comprehension, language skills, and attention.
