Elmer the Patchwork Elephant Giveaway Screen-Free Week Terms and Conditions

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

In celebration of Screen-Free Week (May 5-11, 2025), participating retail stores will be hosting Storytime + Activity event featuring Elmer the Patchwork Elephant.  As part of the event, one (1) attending child at each participating store will be randomly selected to win a free copy of the Elmer the Patchwork Elephant book and the matching Tonie Figurine.

Eligibility

The giveaway is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are age 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of a child age 3 or older attending the designated Tonies® Screen-Free Week event. Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.  Giveaway valid at participating locations only. Employees of Tonies US, Inc. (“Sponsor”), participating retailers, and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible to win.

Sponsor

Tonies US, Inc. 3000 El Camino Real, Building 4, Suite 200, Palo Alto, CA 94306.  The giveaway is being conducted in conjunction with independent participating retail stores.

How to Participate
To enter, a parent or legal guardian must accompany a child to a participating retail location’s Storytime + Activity event during Screen-Free Week (May 5–11, 2025). Attendance at the event automatically enters the child into the giveaway. No purchase necessary. One (1) entry per child per store event.

Prize

Each participating store will award one (1) prize package consisting of:

•        One (1) copy of Elmer the Patchwork Elephant book (ARV $9.99)
•        One (1) matching Tonie Figurine (ARV $19.99)

Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) per prize:  $29.98

Prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted, except at the sole discretion of the participating store or Tonies in the event of unavailability.

Winner Selection and Notification

One (1) Winner will be randomly selected by the hosting store staff during or immediately following the event.  Odds of winning depend on the number of attendees at each location.    Winners and their legal guardians must be present at the time of the drawing to claim the prize.  If the winner is not present or declines the prize, an alternate winner may be selected.  Winners and their guardians may be asked for consent to have their first name and/or photo shared by the retailer or Tonies for promotional purposes.

General Conditions

By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and participating retailers, which are final and binding. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use the winner’s name and likeness for promotional purposes without further compensation or notice unless prohibited by law.

Sponsor is not responsible for late, lost, illegible, misdirected, incomplete, or undeliverable entries. Sponsor and participating retailers assume no responsibility for any technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the giveaway or the announcement of the prizes.

Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants and their guardians release and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, participating retailers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability or injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with participation in this giveaway or acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize.
